The Stakeholder Table meets four times yearly to provide an opportunity for all SDP members to meet, hear updates and discuss the progress and activities of the SDP network. The Stakeholder Table shares decision making with the Planning Committee. The Stakeholder Table is co-chaired by the resident co-chairs of the SDP Planning Committee below.
The Planning Committee meets weekly to: make decisions on behalf of the network; plan Stakeholder Table meetings; create standing and ad-hoc sub-committees; and coordinates, guides and supports the working groups and projects of the SDP Network. The current standing committees are Evaluation and Benchmarks, Terms of Reference and Strategic Planning and Funding and Resources. The Community Benefits Oversight is a closed committee that operates differently. The Planning Committee and Stakeholder Table are co-chaired by a TCHC and Market resident appointed by the Regent Park Neighbourhood Association (RPNA) on a yearly basis for a maximum of three terms.
Four Working Groups related to the four focus areas that residents identified as being important. The purpose of each of these working groups are to develop, plan and implement project activities in each of their individual areas of focus. New working groups can be added to respond to identify needs. Each of the working groups are co-chaired by a TCHC and market resident who are elected annually by members of their working group.
